i already sent usd18. Some good bands from Malaysia now are Carburetor Dung (oldest punk rockers in Msia), they released an 10" on an european label FAMED last year, and an American label released them on a 3 way split. Others are Sarjan Hassan (thrashcore/metal/crossover), The Garrisson (raggae punk ala The Clash with local issues), ForeverXYoung (new fresh hc/punk band). Check out Shock n Awe magazine issue 5, proprinted about Malaysian hc/punk history plus a 7" included. I'll send you MP3s. My band Dum Dum Tak played some small and big shows, released a book/zine about our journey as a band, released a split CD with Always Last, and also released t-shirts and stuffs. Marjinal (political band from Indonesia is coming next month, they're our biggest influence. we're stoked!). We're gonna play with them in KL.
